Iris Night at the Annenberg Space for Photography, Century City

My favorite hang out for photography exhibitions and lectures has become the Annenberg Space for Photography. Their exhibitions and themes are exceptional exquisite and the photographers are of world known elite. The museum has its home in Century Plaza, an area of high class business in Los Angeles ; it is surrounded by these shiny glass metal high rising buildings, where light and sun create beautiful reflections.

The theme of the current exhibition is called “WATER OF THE THIRSTY WORLD “,  a vast topic to discuss and also an opportunity to shoot millions of pictures all over the world. And that’s what Ian  Shive did , his lecture is called  ” A photographic Journey from the Arctic to the Himalaya” with most impressive images ,breath taking aerial views and also photojournalistic photos from  little unknown places of our world.www.waterandsky.com will give you more inside of his work.

next weeks Iris Night Lecture  which will be actually the last one in this series will be given by Gil Garcetti, “ Women, Water and Wells “, which sounds very interesting. I will let you know next week.
