Unfolding Beauty

The month of May is embracing the beauty of all spring flowers, June is announcing the beauty of the beginning of summer. There is such a beauty to capture an unfolding flower.

The Earth laughs in flowers.”

    Gorgeous photos…and flowers.

  2. Amanda says:

Stunning. I especially love the ones of the insides of flowers. You rarely see them with such detail and it’s like its own beautiful world. Flowers are really magical creatures. You forget how much you miss them until they announce themselves again.

  3. Linda says:

Again, you’ve managed to make my day more beautiful, Cornelia. Thank you!!!

  4. Madhu says:

So, so beautiful Cornelia! Every single one.

  5. Such lovely images and quotes.
What are the white flowers in the first three images? I should recognize them, but I don’t.

    • Thank you so much, coming this from you means a lot to me. The white flower is one of my favorites, it’s a native plant here in California, so you probably could see them where you live, they just started to bloom. I call them “sunny-side-up-egg flower, sure that’s not their real name, as I look it up again, they are called Matilija Poppy.
