A slice of sweetness in Krakow, Poland

My recent trip to Europe started at the most beautiful city of Krakow in Poland. This is just not an appetizer  of what will come in several posts, rather than a dessert. As I just love cakes, can’t help it.

Taking a coffee break overviewing the most famous and ancient Market place of Krakow.  Several layers of chocolate hazelnut, filled with chocolate mousse in between a layer of a crisp crunchy roasted almonds. A heaven to melt in to the mouth and soul…..

Much more to come, as I am editing hundrets of pictures…………..

  1. That is a very serious piece of cake, Cornelia…and you say that there are hundreds more to come..:)

  2. Herman says:

Looking delicious… a little piece of heaven!

  3. Oh my, I could devour this NOW, for breakfast 🙂

  4. Debra Kolkka says:

I have not been to Poland. Perhaps I need yo go just for the cake.

  5. The city reminds me of Prague. That cake looks insanely good!

  6. Cornelia, the pastries look divine. Shawn and I will likely be heading through Krackau on the way back to Oberammergau in the coming weeks, so I’ll be looking forward to your upcoming posts. (I’ll probably have to wait to feast on such goodies until we return to O-gau, for we have a trusted and talented gluten-free baker there.) Enjoy the rest of the weekend! 🙂
