……Flowers are like holiness.

The Lotus flower is a symbol in Buddhism for purity of the body, speech, mind and physical desire. It grows in the murky water and rises above floating of material attachment.

The red lotus is the symbol of love and compassion.

    Lotus is one of its kind and represents Brahma. Many people also use it in Puja ceremony during Diwali

  5. The Lotus is one Big Beautiful Flower.
    I saw them in a lake in Hampi full of White blossomed Lotuses. The look was so Amazing.
    In Hindi the Goddesses Lakshmi on Red Lotus and Saraswati on White Lotus. They are symbols of Prosperity and Knowledge respectively.
    Cornelia as You have put it they represent Purity and Desire.
    You know more how nature has given such gifts to make them as symbols.

    Awesome click. You are so talented. I always love lotus, specially the pink one.
    Lotus is considered pure and pious in Hinduism too. It represents goddess Lakshmi – goddess of wisdom and wealth.
