Roses don’t mean always romantic love, they present so many other compassions…
Recently I went for a Celebration of Live, a person who had passed. I walked around her garden and the place where she had her chickens. There were the most beautiful roses she had nurtured through out her life.
I felt that some of her roses were in mourning of the compassion of their friend they have lost.
Roses are unconditional Love
Celebrating Life in so many ways
Roses are the most compassionate flowers.
Yes they sure are and such beautiful colours, Cornelia. Beautiful fragrances too.
Kamal, thank you so much for your very kind comment, I am happy you enjoyed them. Too bad we can’t capture fragrances on camera.
Yes so true Cornelia and that is the secret of flowers they smell so lovely. Welcome dear.
Very tender, and compassionate. Thank-you.
Thank you Sally, I appreciate your kind comment.
A great tribute with compassionate roses to a friend who had passed away, Cornelia!
Thank you dear Peter. My lens was in Aw, when I zoomed into those beautiful roses, too bad we can’t capture fragrances on camera.
A fantastic one.❤️
I like the colours of the second flower.
Thank you Arv, it is one of my favorites as well.
well, we are on the same page, then?
I think you are right. Roses aren’t all about love, but compassion in a much broader sense. As you have captured in these beautiful images. I can feel the compassion for your deceased friend.
Thank you Otto, your observation means a lot to me, yes you are right roses are about a much broader compassion. Have a great weekend coming up.
I too think roses are still beautiful when they’ve passed their prime. I still have the ones my husband gave me for Mothers Day!
Yes , that is so true.
A touching tribute, Cornelia, and wonderful images. I agree, flowers that are in their final act are stunningly poignant. 💜
Yes indeed they are, Jane. Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation
