The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena, California was built and designed in the first half of the 20th century. Its the only remaining Japanese-style garden created before World War2 as a residence in Southern California.
This pond-style stroll garden features waterfalls and a formal teahouse on a approximately two acres of land.
The Teahouse
Strolling through this garden it brings peace and a being in the moment feeling, to the mind.
The Zen Moments in a garden…..
Water pipes made of bamboo, dripping into little ponds, a gurgle sound.
Even a spider web shows it’s beauty
A dragonfly buzzing around.
Just taking a moment to take it all in the beauty of Zen
