Searching in my photography archive for an image for the International Women’s Day, somehow I keep going back to my images of India.
This woman photographed in Jodhpur, juggling her grocery bag on her shoulders presents the story of her strength and endurance coping with life. As all women over the entire globe do in any color or race.
Women in India, specially the smaller towns showcase a lot of grit and hard work in their everyday life.
This pic is just so perfect for celebrating womanhood, Cornelia 👌
Thank you Radhika, your comment mean a lot to me. Indeed , women in India are such hard workers and also very carrying for their family. Have a great week, Radhika.
Well said, Cornelia. Beautiful tribute.
Thank you Jane.
Our women have to work a lot, Cornelia and they require strength and endurance to work and they do also with a laughing and jovial manner. This is their life and such a beautiful picture too. Happy International Woman’s Day.
Thank you dear Kamal, that’s what I noticed too in India, that there is always laughter and humor, women are carrying out, which I really admired, which I really admired. Have a great week, Kamal and thank you for your valuable comment.
Welcome Cornelia and that is what women are strength and courage all the way. You too have a wonderful week ahead 😊😊😊
Congratulations 🥳
Your photo speaks volumes in honour and recognition of all hard-working women on our planet. Here the Chinese proverb is truly fitting, which states that one picture is worth a thousand words, Cornelia. Best wishes! Peter
I am honored to read your kind words, Peter. That’s why I chose that image for today. Best wishes to you too and Biene.
Yes, woman are hard working all over the world – and not getting the recognition they deserve. And more importantly; the same rights and privileges as the other half of the world’s population enjoy.
Yes indeed, Otto, I absolutely agree with you, thank you for your great comment. Have a great weekend.
A beautiful tribute Cornelia and a wonderful image as always. If you’d posted only the image the message would still have been delivered – the mark of an excellent image, storytelling. BTW just so you know, the post doesn’t come up in your BLOG section.
Thank you Tina for your valuable and kind comment, I really appreciate it. You are saying that my post doesn’t come up in my blog, hm, than how do you see my post?

A picture that represents a strong woman: taking care of her family and as well to support them financially. Love it, a great image to celebrate the International Women’s Day.
