The sunflower is one of the strongest flowers turning to the sun all the times. These images portray the sunflower from a different perspective. As at times I capture the back of a flower, which in the sunflower presents also the strengths of the neck of it. The strengths is also our back bone at these times . Erect your self to an upright pasture , just as the sunflower does and face the sunlight. Enjoy what you see and feel.

Your post reminded me of the house were I grew up as a child. My dad always planted a lot of sunflowers to mark out the garden. Beautiful photographs, Cornelia!
Thank you Herman, I am glad to hear that it brought back some wonderful memories of your dad “fencing” the garden with sunflowers. Stay safe and smile like the sunflowers do.
Thanks for spreading some cheer in this otherwise gloomy world.
Thanks Arv, I am glad to know that it brought to you some cheerful moments. Stay safe and smile like the sunflowers do.

Great message with Amazing pictures 😍
Thank you so much.
Sunflowers have always been among my favorite subjects Cornelia. Unfortunately it’s not something we see very often around here. I remember a sunflower field in provence that really took my breath away. Long ago I took a photography class in which the professor encouraged us always to look at the details on flowers including the back and the leaves and stems. You’ve done a wonderful job with this one – very beautifully done!
Oh, thank you so much Tina, I really appreciate your time taking to such a wonderful response. I have seen sunflower fields only in Europe back in the days when I lived there. It’s my passion to capture flowers from a different perspective. Have a great week ahead of you.
Hi Cornelia, As always, your studies are artful and stunning. The underside of the sunflower is as captivating to me as the vibrant petals. Your compositions are thoughtfully shot. A gorgeous series.
