I like how these bamboo poles have been aligned as water travels through them.

It is a tragedy that so much water is being wasted and polluted in our modern times. Creating awareness about this precious commodity is important. Great photo and quote, Cornelia!

    • Thank you Peter. It is indeed so much water being wasted often for no real reason, water should be more precious to all of us and being used consciously.

Dear Cornelia, you must be wondering about my poor response to your comments. I just discovered a couple of your recent comments in my spam folder. I took them out and put them back where they belong. You know how much I appreciate hearing from you. Best wishes from Canada!

      • Oh, Peter, please no worries, I never have any expectations at all of responses. It has happened to me too a few times, that I find responses in my spam folder. You always so kind in your comments. Have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Memories from our visit to the beautiful and serene Japanese garden! Seems like a life time ago!
Another beautiful image, Cornelia! Without water, we wouldn’t exist! Mankind should treasure it not pollute it!!!

  7. There is always something magical in the japanes gardens. And with one photo, one simple detali you managed to convey it. Well seen and well done.

That is an absolutely wonderful capture Cornelia – well done! Such a precious commodity – I often think about how readily available and often wasted it is in developed countries and yet how desperately needed in others. Poor Mother Earth, we simply do not appreciate nor protect her gifts as we should.
