I have always imagined that Paradise will be kind of a library” – by Jorge Luis Borges

Indeed that is my imagination as well.
Before my passion as a professional photographer I used to be a professional and passionate bookseller, back than in Germany.

  • All images are taken in the New York National Library , which is such an amazing place.

Reading books open a different world to you and your imagination.

Enjoy the paradise of your own library with joy of reading

In my photography work I thrive to capture the soul of the moment. I let my images speak the language of stillness and vibration, with that I leave my audience to find their own reflections and emotions. My approach in my work is to lead other's to their own imagination and freedom of dreams. I invite you to visit my web site

    Dear Cornelia,
that is paradise, indeed! We love such libraries. That made us visit Dublin which is full of beautiful libraries. We love to read in spaces surrounded by books.
Our dear Master was not only an author he had also two bookshops in Cologne and loved being a bookseller too. But that’s a long time ago.
    Wishing you a wonderful weekend

    • Thank you Klausbernd , yes that’s the paradise. I spent part of my childhood in a library while my parents were doing their grocery shopping. I guess that’s what was leading my career to become a professional bookseller. Have a wonderful Sunday and thank you so much for your great comment.

        Dear Cornelia,
most of the book lovers I know grew up in a book loving family. That really seem to help to start a lifelong friendship with books. Everyone of my mother’s relatives were collecting books and consequently I am following their tradition. Is that a lack of emancipation? But a nice one! ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Thank you Klausbernd for your story. My mother loved to read books and as a kid I spent hours in the library while my parents ran their errands, I used to read with flashlight under my bed sheets. Well no wonder that I became later on a professional bookseller. “Books open your mind” Have a wonderful week all of you.
