The Italian artist Massimiliano Siccardi has created a replication of Van Gogh’s paintings through digital technology.

It walks visitors through a massive projection of Van Gogh’s work on walls like a moving slide show. Every painting moves slowly in each every detail where you even can see the brush strokes.

It feels like you are immersed into his drawings right in front of you.

The background moves at the same time with the foreground which makes you feel like you are in the studio of Van Gogh.

The event is a floor -to-ceiling ,wall-to-wall-surround showing of Van Gogh images produced from 64 projectors that run on a continuous loop.

All this is surrounded by music from classical Bach, Haendel , Mussorgsky to even most known French Singer Edith Piaf’s song ” Non, je ne regrette rien” ( meaning I don’t regret anything”) And so are the famous stars are immersing.

Van Gogh in his different stages of his life.

There was a stage upstairs where you could view the entire exhibition

Reflections I saw through my lens

Van Gogh has inspired the entire world for his most extraordinary view of his inner world , despite his inner sufferings. Unfortunately he became more famous after his passing.

The opening door of this so capturing walk through Van Gogh’s studio. And there fore the closing thought of Van Gogh

Closing this amazing captures of Van Gogh’s art work , I like to share one of his quotes that speaks to me the most ” I am seeking , I am striving, I am in it with all my heart “
Wow! That is definitely an impressive experience… Love this post!
I am glad that you enjoyed it, Herman. It’s mind boggling what technology can create in this world now.
What an exceptional idea to make an exhibition like this one !
Never seen before.
It’s mind boggling what technology can do. I had been mesmerized with every image that moved constantly.
This is so cool ~ I have friends who will be attending the show in Portland and they are excited about this, and great to see you post here about it. Great photos.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I am glad you enjoyed it. It’s kind of difficult to present in photographs, because every image is constantly moving.
Thank you very much, dear Cornelia. What an impressive exhibition. We like your pictures too, using art for producing art.
Wishing you an easy week

Klausbernd, indeed this was out of the normal how this show was unveiled in front of you eyes, I couldn’t stop being mesmerized with each single display. I am glad you enjoyed it. Wishing you all a great week too, here it’s all of a sudden hot like summer.
Dear Cornelia,
we have a beautiful autumn day, sunny and nearly no wind.
At the end of the week we will go to the Peak District for a little holiday of ten days or longer if we like it.
We hope, this exhibition will come to the UK as well. We would very like to experience it.
Stay healthy and happy

Hi Klausbernd, how wonderful that you are going for a little holiday of some days, enjoy it and have a wonderful time.
How cool and innovative is this. Thanks for sharing this information and pictures. I’m sure it must have been amazing to experience this.
Indeed Arv, so innovative and extremely interesting how this show would unveil in front of our eyes. It’s actually been shown all over the world, maybe in India too?
I have only heard of a French light show being held in Jaipur. May be in some other city or I might have missed it. π
Wow! What a spectacular display of images in honour of Vincent Van Gogh, one of my favourite painters!
Indeed , Peter, this kind of display was something really amazing.
Marvelous and fantastic post, Cornelia. When I visited Amsterdam I went to see his paintings. Awesome what a man he was, an artist of a different kind. One of my favourite painters and the quote by him is what we need to strive for never give up.
I am so glad that you enjoyed it and got to see his work in Amsterdam. Unfortunately he recognized after his death. Thank you for stopping in Kamal
Yes he was recognised only after he died. Welcome always Cornelia
Love every image and visual adventure. Van Gogh is truly one of a kind Artist. I was fortunate enough to visit the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam before the Pandemic and it was a journey of Wonder, Respect and Humanity. Many Gifted Artists lived turbulent lives and not well understood. It is sad that they donβt get to appreciate how priceless their works are now the World over. Thanks for sharing this post, brought back beautiful nostalgic memories. Take care. π
Hi there, thank you for your wonderful comment and I am happy that it brought back some beautiful memories of your time in Amsterdam, which is a truly lovely city. Take care.
