The Amaryllis, the star of the winter

I have been gifted this beautiful Amaryllis from a friend on Thanksgiving

The Amaryllis is a bulbous plant , being sold in winter times.

It’s name is taken from the Greek, meaning ” to sparkle”

Wishing you All a sparkling New Year, may the sparkles inspire you in happiness, health and creativity in your great mind

    • Thank you dear Kamal, it’s always so wonderful to read your kind comments. Oh that red of the Amaryllis was truly vibrant

      • Welcome always dear Cornelia and yes such happy colours. I don’t see you nowadays at my blog would love to receive your valuable feedback on my posts too. Take care and stay safe 💖💖

      • Dear Kamal you might be right of not appearing much on yours or others blogs. I have been more focusing on the loss of two dear friends recently where I haven’t been in the right mood for responses or feedbacks. But no worries I’m doing oaky, no reason to feel sorry for me. Stay happy and healthy my friend

      • Oh that’s sad though Cornelia. Everyday I too hear of some friends of ours dying. Life has put all of us in a different situation and we all have completely lost hope what will happen next. It’s completely okay dear do stay safe and take utmost care of yourself. Lots of love and blessings and hugs dear Cornelia

      • Thank you dear Kamal for your kind response. Indeed these are hard times, but actually it teaches me not to loose hope, quite the other way, faith leads me. Love and hugs to you too dear Kamal.

      • Yes Cornelia faith leads us how to lead our lives and not lose hope. Lots of love and hugs to you too dear 🤗💞💞🤗
