Gorgeous macro images, Cornelia. Love the unopened bud and the detail on the forward petals in the last. I recently got an extension tube for my Fuji lenses and I’m having fun with it.

Herman, it’s the macro lens that gives you that feeling, thank you for expressing your thoughts. How are doing in that European hit swell, hope you Jimi have enough ice cream in the freezer, like I do.
It was way too hot last week… And only on one day, when I invited my best friends and family for a garden party, we had to stay inside because it was raining the whole day… Thank goodness we had 2 giant chocolate cakes and ice cream… 🙂
Oh no what a pity, Herman, that one day rained. I’m sure the chocolate cakes and icecream worked their magic to a rainy day. I am contemplating to get an ice cream maker, as I hear so many good thinhs about it, that homemade ice cream tastes like nothinh to compare with store bought icecream. Any experience from your side?
My niece has her own ice cream maker and she makes delicious ice cream. Personally, I prefer having ice cream ready in the fridge. All that work makes me feel nervous… 😉

Struman macro lens just brought vividness and beauty to a new level. Love it. So alive, like watching the flowers myself. Thank you. It’s a perfect gift of Summer and all the joy it brings. My Summer ends next week, Son back to school, but I hope to continue the adventures every chance I get.
