Today, July 6th, His Holiness the fourteenth Dalai Lama is celebrating his 85th birthday.
I was honored to be part of his 80th birthday celebration, 2015 at the Staples Center, Anaheim in California.
Outside of the Stadium people were drawing birthday wishes onto a wall.
As I was seated on the last tier all the way up, all my captures were only taken from a big screen placed above the stage, therefore my images are not the best of quality I had wished for.
The Dalai Lama greeted many of the numeral guest speakers in his own way.
Among the many guest speakers, Shirin Ebadi, the first Persian female Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2003.
And his dearest friend Bishop Desmond Tutu on video tape.

… the Dalai Lama saying ” I love sweets”..

” I believe that whether a person follows any religion or not is unimportant, he or she must have a good heart, a warm heart”
